Tokyo Big Sight, officially the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, handles over 200 events per year. With halls spread across 240,000 square metres, it is one of the busiest convention venues in Asia — and one of the most logistically demanding places to deliver printed materials.
The Problem: Last-Minute Orders Are Common
Most exhibition veterans will admit: someone on the team always leaves the banner order too late. Files arrive at the printer three days before setup, or artwork gets approved the night before. In these situations, standard print lead times of 5–7 business days are useless.
We built our 48-hour banner service specifically for this scenario.
How the 48-Hour Process Works
Day 0 – File received before 10am: We review your artwork, check bleed and resolution, and send a digital proof the same afternoon.
Day 0 – Proof approved before 3pm: Your file enters the print queue that evening. We use digital large-format printing for rush orders, which allows same-day setup without the plate preparation needed for offset.
Day 1 – Print and finish: Banners are printed, trimmed, eyelets or pole pockets added, and rolled for delivery.
Day 2 – Courier dispatch: We dispatch via same-day or next-morning courier to Tokyo Big Sight's receiving dock. We include all required delivery labels — hall number, company name, booth number, exhibition name.
