The Exhibition Print Checklist
A well-prepared exhibition booth typically needs:
Signage
- Roll-up banners (one at the entrance, one at the back wall)
- Flex banner for the fascia or rear wall
- Promo flags / nobori for the entrance corridor
Collateral
- Leaflets or brochures (A5 or A4, double-sided)
- Business cards — enough to give one to every visitor
- Postcards or flyers for passing traffic in the aisles
Display Materials
- Posters for walls or easels
- Booklet or catalogue for interested visitors
Delivery to Tokyo Big Sight
Tokyo Big Sight, located in Odaiba, accepts direct deliveries from courier services. Most exhibitions require you to label your packages with your company name, booth number, hall number, and the exhibition name. We include a label template with all large-format orders.
We regularly ship to Tokyo Big Sight within 48 hours of order confirmation. For Makuhari Messe and Intex Osaka, add one extra day for delivery.
How Early Should You Order?
As a general rule:
- Roll-up banners and flex banners: order at least 5 business days before your delivery deadline
- Leaflets and business cards: order at least 4 business days before
- Booklets and catalogues: order at least 7 business days before

Common Mistakes Foreign Exhibitors Make
Wrong sizes: Japan uses B-series paper sizes (B2, B1) alongside A-series. If you are ordering posters sized for a Japanese display stand, check whether the stand takes A1 or B1 — they are different.
Forgetting bleed: Always supply artwork with 3mm bleed on all edges. Without it, cutting can leave white borders.
Ordering too late: International shipping to Japan adds days. If you are flying in from overseas, order from us after you arrive, or send us your files before you land.
